The park was originally called Piedmont Driving Club, a social and athletic club for Atlanta's elite. In 1904, the park was sold to the city of Atlanta, and it has since become a beloved public space. Visitors can also enjoy a picnic or take a stroll through the beautiful botanical gardens.One of the park's most popular attractions is the Atlanta BeltLine, a 22-mile trail that connects several Atlanta neighborhoods.
